William Carreira Obituary

            William A. Carreira, 78, of Tiverton, husband of Terri (Thibault) Carreira, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020.

 

            A machinist for St. Gobain in Bristol, RI, he was a life member of the Tiverton Rod and Gun Club. He was an avid hunter, camper, outdoors man and a motorcycle enthusiast. He was also a RI Hunter Safety Instructor.

 

            Besides his wife of 45 years, he leaves four children, William Carreira, Jr. (wife Lynn), Robert "Bobby" Carreira (wife Deborah), Stephen Carreira (wife Doris) and Claudine Brogan; five grandchildren, Deanna Lamb (husband Landon), Kira Kavanaugh (husband Sean), Aaron Carreira, Emily Carreira, and Abigail Brogan. He was the son of the late Antone and Mary (Pacheco) Carreira.

 

            His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a Funeral Mass at Holy Ghost Church at 10:00 AM. Cremation to follow. Face coverings and social distancing required.

 

            A visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Relay for Life, American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Suite 205, Framingham, MA, 01701.
