Wallace S. Campbell, 64, of Fall River, passed unexpectedly on Sept. 4, 2021.
Born in Silver Springs, Maryland on Jan. 5, 1957 to loving parents Kenneth and Catherine Campbell, Wally filled the lives of those around him with joy. Wally graduated Diman Regional Technical Institute (now Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School) in 1976, focusing on Graphic Arts, and went on to work for RE Smith, Ramsbottom Printing, and Electric Boat.
Wally adored his older brother Kenny and was a loving uncle to Ken Campbell of Florida , Kimberly Velez of Lakeville and great uncle to Benjamin and Miah Velez. Wally was a passionate fan of the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox, and later in life the Washington Nationals. He had many friends at the Southpointe Nursing Home where he spent his final years. His presence is sorely missed and his loss is deeply felt.
Wally is predeceased by his father and mother. He is survived by his brother Kenny and wife Cindy of Assonet, Mass., his nephew Ken of Florida, his niece Kimberly and her husband Dick of Lakeville, Mass., many cousins and friends. The family wishes to thank Southpointe and the staff of St. Anne’s Hospital. A wake will be held on Thursday, Sept. 9 at Auclairs Funeral Home (690 South Main St., Fall River, Mass.) at 10 AM with a service to follow at 11 AM.
