Vivian (Tetrault) Desautels

Vivian Tetrault Desautels, 76, of Ruskin Florida, formerly of Fall River, passed away on June 4th at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Riverview, Florida after a brief illness.  Vivian was the wife of the late Roger J. Desautels. 

Born in Fall River, Massachusetts to the late Edward and Yvette Lambert Tetrault, Vivian is survived by a son, Andre Desautels, a brother, Denis Tetrault (wife Renee), a sister, Elaine Charron (husband Roland), several nieces and nephews and long time partner, Charles Langdon. 

A graduate of Jesus Mary Academy in Fall River, Vivian went on to be a dental assistant and later devoted many years to her business, Bronztan, in North Dartmouth, Mass.  She also shared her time and talents at Patenaude Jewelers in Fall River.  Well known for her genuine kindheartedness, Viv seemed to be a shining light to everyone who met her.  A devout Catholic, she shared her many talents and showed compassion whenever and wherever needed. Viv will be sadly missed all who knew her. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Saint Joseph's Church, 5 Mann Ave., Newport R.I. on Monday June 27th at 10:00 a.m.  https://www.stjosephsnewport.org/

There will be no calling hours.  Interment will be private.
