Valdemira (Moniz) Craveiro, 73, of Fall River, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Jose S. Craveiro. Born in Feteiras do Sul, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of Jose and Gilda (Lourenco) Moniz.
Valdemira was employed by Bristol Knitting Mills. A devoted Catholic, she was a member of Santo Christo Parish. She enjoyed baking, crocheting and spending time with family.
She leaves two children, Larry Craveiro and Diane Craveiro; two grandchildren, Breanna Levesque (husband Matthew) and Monica Bouchard; two great-grandchildren, Kaleigh and Emma, whom she adored; three siblings, Maria Ferriera (husband Domingos) and Gilberta Araujo (husband Antonio) and Nick Moniz (wife Sheila); two close nieces, Stacie and Ashley along with other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 22, from 4:00 PM. to 8:00 PM. at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River. Her funeral will be held Thursday, December 23 at 8:00 AM from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass at Santo Christo Church, Columbia St., at 9:00 AM.
Burial to follow at Saint Patrick Cemetery.
