Theresa Fernandes Obituary

Theresa C. (Medeiros) Fernandes, 80, of Tiverton, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 . She was the wife of the late Alfred "Fred" Fernandes.

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Barbara (Roies) Medeiros; she previously worked as a medical secretary at various medical offices in the Fall River area. She enjoyed gardening and loved animals, especially her dogs.

Theresa is survived by a daughter, Sheryl DeMello (husband David) ; two sons, Marc E. Fernandes (husband Michael) and Martin L. Fernandes (husband Robert); a sister, Barbara Medeiros Reis; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind Bill and Lezlie Souza, who she thought of as a son and daughter, and their three daughters.

Private arrangements are entrusted to Auclair Funeral Home.
