Theresa (Chasse) Boivin

Theresa (Chasse) Boivin, 93, of Fall River, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022.  She was the wife of the late Norman J. Boivin.

A sewing machine operator, Terry was employed by Bedford Manufacturing and Spectrum and was a member of ILGWU.

She was a member of Highland Adult Day Care.  She liked crossword puzzles, crocheting and Bingo.  

She was the mother of Paulette Dechaine (late husband Edward Mendonca) and the late Nancy Leite (husband late David Leite; the grandmother of Tracy Dechaine, Shelly Leite (husband Tony Arruda) and the late David Leite; the great-grandmother of Dayne Bourget (wife Leslie), Mitchell Mercure and Lexus Arruda; the great-great-grandmother of Mason Bourget, London Mercure and Aria Bourget; the  sister of Robert Chasse and the late Laurie “Bijou” Chasse, Arthur Chasse, Albert Chasse, Norman Chasse, Frank “Pete” Chasse, Mildred Martin, Irene Bouchard, Rita Blanchette and Delores Desrosiers.

She was the daughter of the late Francis and Alice (Belanger) Chasse.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Road, Fall River.  Burial to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
