Steven E. Patnaude

Steven Patnaude, 42, of Westport, MA passed away June 22, 2019 at St. Anne’s hospital of cardiac arrest. 

An enormously talented tattoo artist, he enjoyed a prolific career spanning 22 years. Steve worked with his friends at Darkstar Tattoo in Westport since it’s opening in 2005. The art he created forever gracing the bodies of countless friends and clients.

Steve took pleasure in spending time with his wife Kate, their cats, and friends whom he loved dearly. He liked visiting museums, perusing flea markets, and antique stores, soaking up inspiration anywhere he could find it. Among his many other enjoyments were watching movies, reading, cooking for friends, skateboarding, and all things art. Always quick with a story and an undeniable ability to make those around him laugh; he was truly loved and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife Kathryn Pensinger, siblings Michael Parandelis, Mark Parandelis, Gerard Patnaude, and Lisa Bearden. Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Beverly (Davis) Patnaude, and Albert Patnaude, his brothers Matthew Parandelis, Keith Bernier, and sister Jeannine Roy.

A Celebration of Steve’s life is to be held Sunday, July 21 5:00pm-8:00pm at Darkstar Tattoo and Piercing 53 Forge Rd. Westport, MA.
