Stanislawa Piekos

          Stanislawa "Stella" (Piekos) Piekos, 97,  of Fall River wife of the late  Joseph Piekos, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021.

          Born in Poland, she worked on a farm there. She came to the US in 1978, she was employed by Lexcraft, working on the exam table. She and her late husband operated the Polish kitchen in the former Polish National Home for many years. Stella was a member of the ILGWU.

           She was the mother of  Zdzislawa Laura Szlemp (husband Roman) of Fall River and the late Waclaw Piekos, Barbara Paradysz, Stanislaw Piekos and Jan Piekos; sister of Tadeusz Piekos of Poland; and the daughter of the late Izydora and Anna (Grzybala) Piekos.

She also leaves 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews in Poland.

          Visitation will be held Monday from 8:00 A.M. to 9:30 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a Funeral Mass in Good Shepherd Church, 1598 South Main St.,  at 10:00 AM. Entombment will take place at Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
