Sophie (Ignacio) Silvia, 94, of Somerset, wife of the late Alvarez "Sam" Silvia, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021.
A machine operator, she enjoyed cooking, crocheting and going to the casino.
She leaves a daughter Gail M. Silvia (companion Martha Dufresne); a sister, Alice Silvia, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Medeiros and Deolinda Ignacio and the daughter of the late John and Emily (Medeiros) Ignacio.
A visitation will be held Thursday from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Church, Somerset, at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
