Ronald Ray Pickens

Ronald Ray Pickens, 75, retired United States Postal Service worker from New Bedford, formerly of Fall River passed away Monday, February 20, 2023 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, Ronald had also served in the military for 15 years including being stationed in Korea and various parts of the United States.

He leaves his wife of 54 years, Gloria Jean (Roy) Pickens;

two sons, Michael Pickens and Peter T. Pickens, Sr. and a grandson, Peter T. Pickens, Jr.

He was the father of the late Christian Titus Pickens and the son of the late Ray and Doris M. (Chapman) Pickens.

Relatives and friends are invited to his committal service with full military honors, Friday, February 24 at 10:15 A.M. at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.

Everyone is invited to join the funeral procession leaving the funeral home at 9:00 A.M.  Visitation is omitted.
