Roland Malenfant

Roland “Pépère” Malenfant, 93, of Fall River, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023, at home, with his family by his side.

He was the husband of the late Adelina “Ida” (Oliveira) Malenfant.

Roland was employed by the former Cliff Heights Nursing Home, Fall River, retiring in 1994.  A seasonal camper at Westport Campgrounds, Roland enjoyed going for walks, the Casino, yard sales, clamboils, chow mein, ice cream cake and strawberry shortcake.

He leaves two sons, Robert Malenfant and Steven Malenfant (wife Roxane); grandchildren, Brian Malenfant (wife Stacy Fowler), Rebecca DeSa (husband Adam) and Jenna-Mae Arruda (husband Kyle); great-grandchildren, Corbett and Parnell Malenfant, Luke DeSa and Paisley Mae Arruda; many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Adrienne Roberts, Rita Miranda, Estelle Ramos (formerly Oliviera), Agnes Costa, Florence Babey, Lina Thiboudeau, Mary Kay, Albert Malenfant and Omer Malenfant.

Roland was the son of the late Cyprien “Sam” and Josephine (Tetreault) Malenfant.

Visitation, Wednesday morning in the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.  

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home. 

Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
