Robert L. Medeiros

      Robert L. Medeiros, 60, of Somerset, husband of Judy A. Medeiros, passed into eternal life on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at home with his family by his side.

He was the son of Margaretha “Gretel” (Pitra) Medeiros and the late Louis V. Medeiros.

       An employee of the City of Fall River and the Fall River School Dept. for a total of 37 years, he was  a member of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.

       He also worked for Truesdale Clinic.

       A volunteer for A Wish Come True, he also served as one of it’s committee members. Robert was also involved with Souza Strong. He served his country as a Navy veteran.

         Besides his wife of 15 years and his mother, he leaves a stepson, Jonathan Borges, Sr.; two grandchildren, Jewelianah Borges and Jonathan Borges, Jr.; a sister, Karen Medeiros; a brother, Louie Medeiros (wife Marylou); a niece, Charlotte Gray; a nephew, Doug Medeiros and several great nieces and great nephews.

      A  Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, July 4, 2020, at  10:30 A.M., at Saint John of God Church, Brayton Ave., Somerset.

Calling hours will be held Friday, July 3, 2020, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturday morning, prior to the Funeral Mass from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So.Main St. Fall River.  Face coverings required.

Burial, Nathan Slade Cemetery, Prospect St. Somerset.
