Robert L. Charette

          Robert L. “Bob” Charette,Sr. 73, of Fall River, husband of Paula A.(Reynolds) Charette, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021.

          Bob was employed by the Fall River Public School Dept., working mostly at Talbot Middle School. A car enthusiast, he enjoyed watching NASCAR.  He was a New England sports fan, especially of the Bruins.  A graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School, he was a member of Blessed Trinity Polish National Catholic Church.

          Besides his wife of 24 years, he leaves five children, Robert L. Charette, Jr., Andrew Charette, Tracy Charette Dapielda (husband Emanuel), Christine Charette (fiancé Steve) and Bethany Estacio (husband Derek); two stepchildren, William M. Silva, Sr. (wife Tammie) and April L. Byrd (husband Tommy); a sister, Rose Correira (husband Arthur); former wife Susan Viner; 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

           He was the brother of the late Cecile Turriani, Irene Talbot, and son of the late Albert L. and Emilia (Francoeur) Charette.

          Visitation Friday, October 29, 2021, from 6 PM to 8 PM. at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So.Main St. Fall River.  Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 30, at 10 AM. at Blessed Trinity Polish National Catholic Church, 37 Winthrop St. Fall River.   The family is respectfully asking all attendees to please wear a mask during the visitation and Funeral Mass. Thank You.
