Robert Carroll

Robert E. “Bobby Blue” Carroll, 81, of Somerset, and a former longtime resident of Tiverton, passed away at Newport Hospital Wednesday, June 15, 2022.  

He was the husband of the late Carol A. (Machado) Carroll.

Mr. Carroll was employed by Independent Laundry as a salesman where he worked for over 30 years.

Robert served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

He loved going to the Comfort Zone in Somerset, where they treated him like family and he could spend time with so many friends.

He leaves a daughter, Lori A. Melker (husband Neil); his niece, Caroline Rocheleau; his nephew, James Thivierge; and two great nieces, Brittany Yerid and Haley Yerid.

Robert was the brother of the late Leopold Carroll, Jr. and  the son of the late Leopold and Irene (Levesque) Carroll.
