Riley M. Farias

Riley M. Farias, 76, of Fall River, husband of Kathleen “Kathy” (Howard) Farias, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022.

He was employed by the Fall River Public School Department for 37 years.

Riley was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a B.M.C. Durfee High School graduate of the Class of 1966.

He was a fan of all New England sports teams and loved going to see the Patriots play with friends and family.

Riley also enjoyed camping, boating and fishing.

Besides his wife of 52 years, he leaves two children, Nancy Womack (husband Dave) and Derek Farias (wife Kristen); four grandchildren, Zachary Charette (wife Brenna), Aidan, Ella and Cora Farias; a sister, Virginia Leduc; nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late John Farias and the son of the late John P. and Virginia (Duclos) Farias.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.

His funeral will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM from the funeral home, with a Funeral Mass at Good Shepherd Church, So. Main St. at 11:30 AM. Burial, Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
