Richard Lavoie Obituary

Richard D. Holleran Lavoie, 57, of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. 

Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, Richard was the son of the late Dorothy (Holleran) Lavoie and Nelson Lavoie.

Richard was employed by Quest Diagnostics as a medical transporter/handler.  He was a graduate of Durfee High School, Bristol Community College and attended UMASS Boston. 

In his free time Richard enjoyed biking, listening to music, playing his guitar, and watching the New England Patriots with his brother. 

Richard is survived by his siblings, Nancy Marshall (husband John), Brian Lavoie, and Derek Lavoie, a nephew John Marshall III, a niece Jessica Marshall (fiance Zachary Pilcher) and a great-niece Avery Pilcher, and his lifelong companion Philomena Remy. 

A visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Auclair Funeral Home 690 South Main Street Fall River, Massachusetts. (parking and barrier-free entrance in rear)

There will be a Catholic prayer service in the funeral home at 5:00 PM.

Cremation to follow
