Richard Lapointe Obituary

Richard P. Lapointe, 69, of Tiverton, husband of Doreen (Bettencourt) Lapointe, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at his home surrounded by family.

A US Air Force Veteran, Richard was a carpenter for Talbot Construction in earlier years, and then an independent contractor for the remainder of his career. He was a sportsman for most of his life and an avid fisherman.

Besides his wife of 50 years, he leaves three children. Richard Lapointe, Darcie Lapointe Silvia and Jonathan Lapointe, all of Tiverton. Six grandchildren; Mackenzie and Evan Lapointe, Samantha and Sydney Silvia, Hayden and Jack Lapointe. Two siblings, Roger Lapointe and Jeannine Berger, sister-in-law Deirdre Moniz, and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Homer and Juliette Lapointe.
