Rene Gagnon Obituary

Rene G. Gagnon, 78, of Swansea, , passed away January 7, 2021.

Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late William and Laura (Sevigny) Gagnon.

He leaves a loving wife, Jean (Cote) Gagnon a loving daughter, Lisa Ceurvels (husband Dan); son-in-law Jim Messier; three grandchildren, Nicholas Profio, Bethany Profio and Daniel Ceurvels and a sister-in-law, Lillian Gagnon.

Rene was a pipe fitter for over 40 years at Arkwright Finishing, Globe Manufacturing and Hoyt Manufacturing. He also worked at Land Tek as a truck driver. He was a member of the St. John's Athletic Club and Fishing Club for over 40 years.

Rene was predeceased by his daughter, Deborah Messier and two brothers, Dennis and Gerald Gagnon.

Private funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Auclair Funeral Home.
