Raymond P. Daigle, 86, retired MCI-Walpole Correctional Officer,of Fall River, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022. He was the husband of the late Mary Jane (Cusick) Daigle.
He retired as a Captain, after serving over 30 years in the Massachusetts Department of Correction.
Extremely active, Ray enjoyed golf, handball, racquetball and playing with his dog, Rusty.
He leaves 3 daughters, Debra Nebelkopf and her husband Cary, Shelly Tavares and her husband William and Lori Goyette and her husband Thomas; grandchildren, Ryan M. Daigle and Tyler, Kaylee and Joshua Tavares; a sister, Pauline Turgeon (husband Paul) and nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Annette Kaegeal and Albert, Roland and Louis Daigle and the son of the late Mathais and Alvide (Lindberg) Daigle.
Visitation Friday, December 2, from 8:00 A.M. to 9:15 A.M. in the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St.Fall River.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated following the visitation at Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Rd. Fall River, at 10:00 A.M.
Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
