Peter Pacheco

Peter Pacheco, 83, of Tiverton, husband of Joan (Drewniak) Pacheco, passed away peacefully March 18, 2021.

            Peter was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School, Class of 1955. He received degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the former BMC Durfee Technical Institution and a Master's Degree in Finance from Loyola University. He was a loyal member of the Tiverton Jr. Basketball League for over 45 years. He served as league secretary, coach and referee.

            He was the son of the late Peter and Mary (Bento-Pimental) Pacheco. He was predeceased by brother Manuel and sister Alice Vincent.

            Besides his wife of 62 years, he is survived by son Glen, daughter Paula Pegg (husband Don); grandchildren Mallory and A.J. (fiancée Heidi) and great-granddaughter, Selina. He is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

            Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St..

            A Funeral Mass will be held Monday at 9:00 AM at St. Theresa's Church. Please meet directly at church. Cremation to follow.
