Paul R. Couturier

Major Paul R. Couturier, US Army, Ret., 61, formerly of Fall River and N.Attleboro, passed away on Tuesday, April, 9, 2024. 

Paul was raised in Fall River and was a graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School and Southern Massachusetts University, Class of 1987, earning a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology.

He served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard Reserve from 1981 until 2011, and was deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003 to 2004, retiring as a Major. 

He was employed as a Field Service Engineer with FANUC America, retiring due to illness.  He was a member of East End Sportsman’s Club and the Knights of Columbus.

Paul was the son of Ronald A. Couturier of Fall River and the late Joan V. (Langlais) Couturier; the brother of Robert J. Couturier of Fall River, Michelle Brouillard (husband Jean D.) of Attleboro, and Marc M. Couturier (wife Kelly) of Barrington; uncle of Adam and Jillian Brouillard, and Ethan Couturier; 

A Visitation will be held on Friday, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.  

His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Church, at 10:00 AM.

Burial is Monday at  10:00 AM at Massachusetts National Cemetery.
