Othilia (Ricardo) Belanger

Othilia "Tillie" (Ricardo) Belanger, 85, of Fall River, wife of the late Gerard O. "Jerry" Belanger,  passed away at home with her family at her side Thursday, September 8, 2022.

She worked in the Fall River school system first as a lunch aide at the Dwelly School, then as a teacher's aide at the Osborn School.

Othilia leaves a son, Mark W. Belanger of Fall River; sisters Veronica and Agnes Ricardo and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late August R. and Agnes (Furtado) Ricardo and the sister of the late August "Butch" Ricardo, Dennis R. Rego, Deodarto "Rick" Ricardo, Viola Pare (husband Roland) and Laura Levesque (husband Herb).  Special thanks to Beacon Hospice for their excellent care, especially Shelise, RN, Kimberly, RN, Amanda, CNA, Manny, Social Worker and Prima Care Home Care Lisa Silva, NP.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 13, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, September 14, at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Good Shepherd Church.

Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery.
