Nuria A. Gonzalez

Nuria A. Gonzalez, 68, of Whipple St. Fall River, formerly of El Salvador, passed into eternal rest Thursday, April 28, 2022.  She was the wife of Jose Alfonso Ortega.  They shared 20 years of marriage.

Nuria was known as a brave, strong pioneer who loved to cook for her family. She helped many in need and was devoted to Saint Jude.

Besides her husband, she leaves behind six children; Mayra Cervantes, Geovanny Castro (wife Jessica), Edwin Campos, Carlos A. Castro (wife Dinelda), Patricia Gonzalez (wife Tania) and Elvis Campos; many grandchildren; nine siblings, Aracely Gonzalez, Ricardo Gonzalez,  Rolando Gonzalez, Elvis Gonzalez and  Martin Gonzalez, Alfredo Hurtado, Sonia Hernandes, Bladimir Hurtado and Melvin Gonzalez and she was the sister of the late Wendy Hurtado and America Gonzalez.  She was the daughter of the late Luis Hurtado and Maria Louisa Hernandez.

Visitation will be held Monday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River, MA.
