Michael R. Roussel

Michael R. Roussel, 61, of Fall River, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

He was the husband of Michelle D. (Menard) Roussel.  They shared 37 years of marriage.

 Michael was born in Fall River and was the son of the late Gerard R. and Claire A. (Lussier) Roussel.

A Class of 1979 graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School in the Electricity Program, Mike worked his entire life in construction. He was the handyman whom everyone could rely on.

Mike had many hobbies including woodworking, fishing, golf, and gardening. He was talented, creative, and always working on new projects in his garage.  His biggest passion was music.  Mike played bass and sang in several bands, including most recently, Kray Z Unkl.

Besides his wife Michelle, he leaves two children, Kelly A. Silva (husband Josh) and Michael D. Roussel; Nine siblings, Jeanne Allard (late husband Paul), Denise Wescott, Robert Roussel (wife Janice), Connie Roussel, Andre Roussel (wife Carla), Marc Roussel (wife Deborah), Thomas Roussel (wife Kristen),  Edward Roussel (wife Michelle) and Danielle Roussel; numerous nieces and nephews. He was also the son in law of the late Armand G. and Lorraine (Roy) Menard.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.  There will be a funeral service following the visitation at 7:00 PM in the funeral home.  Burial will be private.
