Mary R. (Rego) Freitas

Mary R. (Rego) Freitas, 59, of Fall River, wife of John L. Freitas, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.

Born in Bretanha, St.Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of Helena (Pacheco) Rego of Fall River and the late Jose Rego.  Mary was employed by Associates for Human Services, Taunton, as a CNA.

She was a member of Espirito Santo Parish. Besides her husband of 42 years and her mother, she leaves three children, Brian L. Freitas (wife Rosa) of Mooresville, North Carolina, Brenda M. Silva of Fall River and John L. Freitas, Jr. of North Kingstown, RI; four grandchildren, Alexia Silva, Kendra Manzo, Samantha Freitas and Michael Freitas; a sister, Mary Jo Pimentel (husband Gilbert) of Swansea and a brother, David Rego of Warwick, RI; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 3 PM to 6 PM at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So.Main St. Fall River.

Her funeral will be held Monday from the funeral home at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Espirito Santo Church, Alden St. at 10:00  AM. All family and friends are welcome and Covid protocols will be followed.

Burial to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Stafford Rd. Fall River, Massachusetts.
