Mark A. Hosley, MD, PhD

Mark A. Hosley, MD, PhD, 68, of Westport, husband of Bonnie L. Bower, DDS, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021.

            Born in Lowell, Michigan, he was the son of the late Frederick and June (Boyd) Hosley. He received his Bachelor's degree and PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Michigan. He then went on to receive his medical degree from Brown University and spent his Neurology Residency at UMass. He had his Fellowship in Spinal Cord Injury and was Board Certified in Neurology, Electrophysiology and Sleep Medicine. He retired from the practice of Neurology at SouthCoast Hospital Group in 2018. He was known to be an astute, compassionate physician, loving husband and father.

            Besides his wife of 39 years, he leaves a daughter, Sarah Hosley of Bloomfield, CT; siblings, John Hosley of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Mary Hosley of South Haven, Michigan and several in-laws, nieces and nephews.

            Private funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.
