Marjorie A. (Arruda) Almeida, age 91½, formerly of Tiverton, RI, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, surround by her loving family at the home of her beloved daughter, Marjorie "Marcy" Ytkin, and son-in-law, Neil Ytkin.
Marjorie was born in Tiverton, RI. The daughter of the late Antone and Ambrosina (Camara) Arruda. She was also the wife of the late William F. Almeida. She believed in living life to the fullest, cherishing each day, and always finding the silver lining in every situation. Marjorie was overwhelmed with joy and happiness during her 90th birthday celebration last year, which also doubled as a family reunion. She cherished that moment and wants to ensure that her memory lives on as a source of happiness and celebration.
