Maria Grace (Pereira) Meneses

Maria Grace (Pereira Jacob) Meneses, 55, of Fall River, devoted wife of Jose A. Meneses, passed away at Saint Anne's Hospital after an illness.

Born in St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of Manuel Victorino Jacob and Maria Alice Pereira of St. Michael.   She was employed as a chef. A devoted Catholic, Maria's sons and grandchildren were her most treasured gift from God.

Besides her husband of  nine years and her parents, she leaves  two sons, Luis Manuel Pereira Benevides (wife Jacqueline Golden Benevides) and Valentin Pereira Bordonau (companion Andrea DaSilva); three grandchildren, Lilly Almeida, Maximo Golden Benevides and Sophia Marie Pereira; eight siblings, Manuel Pereira Jacob, Eduardo Pereira Jacob, Louis Pereira Jacob, Nelia Pereira Jacob, Paulo Pereira Jacob, Miguel Pereira Jacob, Maria Pereira Jacob, and Bruno Pereira Jacob; numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Monday, September 6, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 9:00 A.M. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Santo Christo Church, Columbia St. Fall River.  Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Prospect St. Fall River.
