Maria J. (Andrade) Frizado

Maria J. (Andrade) Frizado, 70, of Fall River, wife of the late Edmundo V. Frizado, passed away Monday, August 3, 2020 after a brief illness.

            Born in Rabo de Peixe, São Miguel, Açores, she was a devout Catholic and attended the Groupo de Oração every Wednesday. She enjoyed watching Spanish soap operas, but most of all, spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was looking forward to meeting her great-grandbaby on the way.

            She leaves two children, Keith Frizado (wife Ana) of Fall River and Alison Raposo (husband Marco) of Swansea; three grandchildren, Kyle Frizado, Chelsea Raposo and Ethan Raposo; two siblings, Manuel Andrade and Beatriz Estrela (husband Jacinto) all of Fall River and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Edmundo Frizado, Jr., the sister of the late Antonio Vieira Palrrao and Inorina Amelia da Conceição and the daughter of the late Henrique Palrrao DeAndrade and Guilhermina (Vieira) DeAndrade.

            Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:45 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a Funeral Mass at Espirito Santo Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick's Cemetery.

            A visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Face coverings required.
