Maria Lurdes (Sousa) Ferraz, 72, of Somerset, wife of Jose P. Ferraz, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018.

Born in Agua de Pau, St. Michael, Azores, she was a machine operator for Beacon Garment.

Besides her husband of 47 years, she leaves two siblings, Eugenia Vasconcellos and Joseph M. Sousa both of the Azores. She was the daughter of the late Jose Garrafa and Ligia da Ponte Sousa.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 8:45 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a funeral mass at St. John of God at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery. Online guest book at AuclairFuneralHome.com.
