Maria Helena (Oliveira) Aguiar

Maria Helena R. (Oliveira) Aguiar, 86, of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 13, 2021.

She was the wife of the late Joao Aguiar.

Born in Santo Antonio, Alem Capelas, Sao Miguel, Acores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Helena C. (Reis) Oliveira.

She enjoyed bible study at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Her hobbies included reading, eating sweets and tending to her flower garden.

Maria leaves two daughters, Clotilde Pavao (husband Henry) of Fall River and Alda Harris (husband Andrew) of Chino Hills, CA; four siblings, Henrique Oliveira of Dighton, Antonio Oliviera and Filomena Chaves, both of Tiverton and Alda Rocha of Swansea;

 6 grandchildren, Tanya Pavao (fiancé

Ramon Coleman), Jessica Carreiro, Amanda Pacheco (husband Andrew), Joshua Harris ( wife Endless ), Jordan Harris (fiancée Sarah Connell) and Andrea Harris; three great-grandchildren, Aiden Coleman, Kenzie Carreiro and Amyiah Coleman.

She was the sister of the late Jose Oliveira, Maria Luisa Oliveira and Manuel Oliveira. 

   A visitation will be held Friday, July 16, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Her funeral service will be Saturday, July 17 at the funeral home, at 10:00 A.M. (family will greet guests at 9:00 AM.

Burial to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
