Manuel Botelho Obituary

            Manuel Botelho, 72, of Fall River, husband of Janis (Akers) Botelho, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021 after a period of declining health.

 

            Manny graduated from Durfee in 1968 and served in the Marine Corps. for 31 years, where he met his wife. He loved to ride his Harley and drive his antique Ford 1955.

 

            Besides his wife of 49 years, he leaves three children, Patricia Deleon-Blair (husband Lee) of Fall River, Debra Botelho of CA and David Botelho (wife Tiffany) of CA; grandchildren, Janessa Deleon, Nicholas Blair, Amelia Botelho and Gracelynn Botelho; a sister, Geraldine Berard (husband Paul); sister-in-law Carol Kulesza (husband Stanley) and nieces and nephews, Cindy, Adam, Brian, Tim, Emily, David and Mindy and their families. He was predeceased by his brother David Botelho and his fiancée Barbara.

 

            The family would like to send a special thanks to St. Anne's Hospital, St. Catherine Unit, and Accent Care Hospice for their exceptional care.

 

            Private funeral arrangements entrusted to the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Manny will eventually be laid to rest at Riverside Veteran's Cemetery, CA.
