Louis M. Nunes

Louis M. Nunes, 55, of Tiverton, beloved companion of Belinda J. Carreiro, passed away November 17, 2020.

            Louis was born in St Miguel Azores.  A graduate of Diman Regional Technical High School, he was a machinist at Taco for the last 37 years. He enjoyed listening to music, walks on the beach and road trips, but most importantly, spending time with his family and friends. He lived his life to the fullest and was a very hard worker.

            Besides his companion of 11 years, he is survived by his parents, Osvaldo and Maria (Morgado) Nunes; siblings, Paul A. Nunes, Helen M. Aguiar (husband Louis) and Sonia Almeida; nieces and nephews, Katelyn Serriello, Larissa Proulx, Evyn Moreira, Ariana Nunes and John Almeida, Jr.; a step-son, Justin R. Carreiro and step-grandchildren, Grayson and Lilah. He was the father of the late Jonathan P. Nunes and grandson of the late Manuel DeMello Morgado, Iria Pereira DeMello, Manuel Rodrigues Nunes and Maria Emilia Pimentel.

            A visitation will be held Friday, November 20, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Face coverings and social distancing required.

            Service and burial will be private.
