Linda C. (Carreiro) Borges

Linda C. (Carreiro) Borges,44 wife of the late Steven Borges, of Fall River,  passed into eternal rest after an illness at home on January 15, 2022.

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of Genoveva (Lourenco) Carreiro (Companion Carlos Silva) of Swansea and the late Domingos Carreiro, Sr. 

She leaves two sons, Steven J. Borges and Brennan D. Borges (Fiancée Emily Donaldson) and their daughter Iyanna Borges all of Fall River; a brother, Domingos Carreiro, Jr of Fall River; mother-in-law Gertrude (Silvia) Borges of Fall River and was the daughter-in law of the late Vitorino A. Borges.

Also leaves brothers-in-law Victor Borges and Paul Borges of Fall River and sister-in-law Elizabeth Pollard (husband Ed) of Fall River; nieces and nephews.

 She was the sister-in-law of the late Margaret Mota.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 19 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 P.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 9:00 AM from the funeral home, with a  Funeral Mass at Santo Christo Church, Columbia St. at 10:00 AM.  

Burial, with graveside committal service will follow at Saint Patrick Cemetery.
