Liberta (Braga) Oliveira

          Liberta (Braga) Oliveira, 86, of Fall River, wife of the late Antero Oliveira, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Thursday, June 24, 2021.

          She was born in Faja de Cima, São Miguel, Açores. She was a machine operator for Lexcraft Manufacturing and a member of the ILGWU. She loved to cook, crochet and spend time with her family.

          She leaves two children Filomena Amaral (husband Virgil) and Lurdes Pavao (husband Dario); five grandchildren, Jocylen Cardoso (husband Joshua), Joshua Amaral (wife Tina), Jenna Paiva (husband David), Derek Pavao (wife Kelly) and Nicole Pavao; ten great-grandchildren, Matthew, Jacob, Lucas, Ethan, Evan, Kaylin, Rylee, Skylah, Kelsie, and Jameson; a brother, Jose Brilhante (wife Mary Jo) and many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Jose and Maria Lourdes (Machado) DaSilva.

            The family is grateful to SouthCoast VNA/Hospice Staff for their compassionate services.

          Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Santo Christo Church. Burial, St. Patrick's Cemetery.

          A visitation will be held Monday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
