Laurie Ann (Smith) Paquette

Laurie Ann (Smith) Paquette, 55, of Tiverton RI, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 11, 2024.

She was the wife of Roger M. Paquette. Together, they shared 34 years of marriage.

Born in Pawtucket, RI she was the daughter of Robert Smith of Ocala, Florida and the late Marjorie Anne Smith.

Laurie liked to take long strolls on the beach looking for shells, shopping, and doing crafts. Most of all, she enjoyed time with her family.

Besides her husband and father, she leaves four children, Ashley Paquette (fiancé Kevin DeMelo) of Dartmouth, Carrissa McCormack (husband William) of Swansea, Derrick Paquette (wife Pamela) of Tiverton and Dominic Paquette (girlfriend Mary Williams) of Tiverton; brothers, Timothy Smith of Pawtucket and Barry Smith of Ocala; and she was the sister of the late David Smith.

She also leaves her seven grandchildren, Christian DeMelo, Hailey DeMelo, Arianna Medeiros, Isabella McCormack, Gabriella McCormack, Liam Moore and Harper Paquette.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 18, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.

Her funeral service will take place in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial following at Notre Dame Cemetery.
