Lauretta Lynn Obituary

 

Lauretta M. (Dubois) Lynn, of Fall River, entered fully into the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ Friday, January 20, 2023. She was 97. She was the wife of the late Thomas Lynn.  

Lauretta spent her life raising her children and caring for grandchildren.  She lived as a Christian and God was first and foremost in her life. She shared her saving knowledge of Jesus Christ with her family, friends and acquaintances. Her favorite pastimes were studying the Bible, writing out scriptures and listening to sermons. She also enjoyed reading about history, politics and trivia. She was a wiz at quiz games and a pro at the TV show Jeopardy.

Lauretta was the mother of Michael Lynn, Sr. (wife Marie E. Lynn), Mary M. Buckley (husband David L. Buckley III) and the late Charlotte Lynn, Thomas Lynn, William Lynn and John Lynn; grandmother of Michael Lynn,Jr., Jennifer Lynn, Patricia Picard, Jessica Lynn, Elizabeth Dennehy, William Lynn Jr., David L. Buckley IV, Sarah Lynn Desmarais and Ryan Thomas Buckley;  great-grandmother of several great-grandchildren.

Lauretta was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Dube) Dubois.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Oak Grove Cemetery, Tuesday, January 24, at 11:00 A.M. 

Please meet at the entrance on Prospect St. and follow procession to the grave.
