Laura R. (Rego) DaSilva

                 Laura R. (Rego) DaSilva, 86, of Fall River, wife of the late Luis DaSilva, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Westport, with her family by her side.

                She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed reading and knitting.

                Laura leaves six children, Luis Silva and his wife Azelia of Dartmouth, Filomena Boudria and her husband Michael of Fall River, Antonio Silva and his wife Dora of Fall River, Rui Silva and his wife Lenore of Rehoboth, Daniel Silva of Swansea and Lily Ayers and her husband Mark of Westport; nine grandchildren, Ryan, Courtney, Tyler, Lauren, Adam, Catrina, April, Aaron and Aiden; three great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Everlee and Jaxon; siblings, Ilda Tavares, Belmira Canario, Teresa Medeiros, Victoria Rego, Jose Luis Rego and Manuel Antonio Rego and many nieces and nephews.                  She was the sister of the late Benvinda Aguiar, Guilhermina Aguiar, Maria do Carmo Rego and Gil Rego; and the daughter of the late Joao and Maria E. (Tavares) Rego.

                A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from  5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 9:00 AM from the funeral home,  with a Funeral Mass at Santo Christo Church, Columbia St.  at 10:00  AM. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery.
