Kimberly Ann (Duarte) Emerson, 52, of East Taunton, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at home with her loving family by her side.

She was the wife of Jeffrey Nills Emerson with whom she shared 32 years of marriage.

Born in Middleboro, MA, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Sheila (Burnham) Duarte. After raising her children, Kimberly worked as a Home Health Aide. She enjoyed walks, watching car racing on NASCAR and at Seekonk Speedway and in New Hampshire and Connecticut with her family. She especially enjoyed and was comforted by her dog, Daisy.

Besides her loving husband, she leaves four children, Tara L. Emerson of East Taunton, William E. Emerson, Jr. (wife Jennifer) of East Taunton and Steven J. Emerson also of East Taunton, Tonya Emerson of Michigan; four grandchildren, Jeremy Martins, US Army, Katelyn Martins, Joshua Valliere, William Emerson III; a sister, Tammy Medeiros (husband George) of East Taunton; a Goddaughter and niece, Nicole Barreto of Milford.
