Josephine (Chodkowski) Hamel, RN

Josephine Hamel, RN, 87, of Fall River, formerly of Somerset, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021.

She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Hamel.

Josephine was an avid shopper.

She was employed by Truesdale Hospital and Charlton Memorial Hospital.

She was the mother of Joseph Hamel, Jr., Donna Dionne, Richard Hamel and Lance Hamel (wife Elizabeth); grandmother of Wyatt M. Hamel, Cheryl Doyle and James Dionne; sister of Genevieve St. Denis (late husband Victor); daughter of the late Stanley and Sophie (Makuch) Chodkowski.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 1335 No. Main St., Fall River.  Burial was private.
