Joseph Bento Moniz

Joseph Bento "Joe Bonez"  Moniz, 47, of Fall River, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021.

          Everyone who met Joe loved him. You could always count on hearing his laugh that could move mountains. He was loud, loving, kind, funny - he had a beautiful and genuine soul. His loyalty was unwavering. He had a blunt and tough exterior but would also give the shirt off his back to a stranger. Those he loved always knew it and he would do anything to make them happy. He was a momma's boy. He enjoyed fishing with his nephew Javier, poker with the boys, spending time with friends and family, playing PS4 and being with his Poops.

          He is survived by his parents, Bento J. "Benny" and Cheryl A. (Munroe) Moniz of Fall River; a son, Andrew J. Moniz of Clarksville, TN; his girlfriend and love of his life, Melissa Malia of Fairhaven; two brothers, Bento J. Moniz II (wife Jennifer) and Peter W. Moniz all of Fall River; three nephews, Javier Moniz, Benji Moniz (wife Shannon) and Peter W. "PW" Moniz II; godmother, Tia; close friends, Keith Parker, Jack Hanratty, Brian Clifford, Kevin Rosario; pets, Sunny and Boo, Sushi-mon and Bella and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who were like family. He was predeceased by his Gran, Nana, Papa, several aunts and uncles and Chewy.

          A visitation will be held Thursday, March 18th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow.  Face coverings are required.
