Joseph Alves, Jr.

Joseph Alves, Jr., 84, of Fall River, passed into eternal rest Wednesday, December 21, 2022.

He was the husband of Alice A. (Ksen) Alves.  Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Joseph Alves, Sr. and Belmira (Lima) Alves.

Joseph had been employed many years ago for Sarama Lighting, Fall River, until its closing.  He then was employed by Quaker Fabric, Fall River.  

Besides his wife of 63 years, he leaves a son, Michael Alves and he was the father of the late Lori Ann Turner.

He also leaves a granddaughter, Melissa Rego; three great-grandchildren, Alley Chabot, Benjamin Bickford and Ruby Incandella.

Joseph was the brother of the late Delores Fernandes, Belmira Ventura, Lorraine Cabral and Larry Alves.
