Jose A. Sineiro

​Jose A. Sineiro, 84, of Fall River, husband of Maria F. (Vieira) Sineiro, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 6, 2021 due to complications of a stroke. 

​Born in Furnas, St. Michael, Azores, he was a laborer for Stivaletta Corp. for over 40 years. He loved gardening, hunting, fishing and he was very passionate about breeding his award winning birds.  He also loved spending time with his beloved family and friends. 

            Besides his wife of 56 years, he leaves five children, Cathy Estrela (husband Emanuel) of Somerset, Joseph Sineiro (wife Stephanie) of Dartmouth, Paul Sineiro (wife Linda) of Somerset, Sandy Cabral (husband Dimas) of Fall River and Mitchel Sineiro (wife Cindy) of Taunton; ten grandchildren, Joshua, Chelsea, Autumn, Colby, Jayden, Korinne, Kadence, Kenzie, Julissa, and Johnathan; a great-grandson, Logan; four siblings, Maria Moniz, Constance Sineiro, Fernando Sineiro and wife and Antonio Sineiro and wife; a sister-in-law, Maria Medeiros and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Maria Andrade and the son of the late Antonio and Gilda (Achadinha) Sineiro.

            A visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.

            A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM at Santo Christo Church, MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH. Burial will be private due to COVID restrictions. Face coverings and social distancing required.
