Jose M. Pavao

Jose M. Pavao, 57, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Lori A. (Burton) Pavao.  They shared 40 years of marriage.

Born in St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of Valdomira E. (Tavares) Pavao and the late Jose C. Pavao.  He came to the United States when he was 7 years old.

He has been employed in the construction industry for many years.  Jose enjoyed cars, motorcycles and fixing houses.  He loved going to the gym, but mostly he treasured spending time with his family and dogs.

Besides his wife and mother, Jose leaves two children, Stacey L. Pavao and Joey W. Pavao; five grandchildren, Alexus, Tessa, Brayden, Audrina and Toria; four siblings, Luis A. Pavao, Lucy Pavao Dixon, Pauley G. Pavao and he was the brother of the late Sandra M. Pavao.  Jose also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and family in Canada, all of whom he loved deeply.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 25 from 8:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.  There will be a funeral service in the funeral home at 10:30 A.M.
