Jose C. Cordeiro

Jose C. Cordeiro, 72, of Fall River, and a native of Feteiras do Sul, St. Michael, Azores, died Friday, April 8, 2022.  He was the husband of the late Maria (Branco) Cordeiro, a native of Fenais da Luz, St. Michael, Azores.

His hobbies included caring for his pigeons and working in his yard.  Jose enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He was a member of the Giant Runt Club, Bristol, Rhode Island.  Jose loved to go to local feasts and he enjoyed watching cowboy movies.

 He leaves three daughters, Ann E. Fonseca (Edwin Siguencia) and Emily Cordeiro (late husband Miguel and late companion Sidney Trahan) all of Fall River and Sandra Mollinedo (Richard) of Randolph, MA; 

6 grandchildren,  William Wrightington (wife Hannah), Eddie and Alethea Fonseca, Brittney Cordeiro and Madison and Isabella Mollinedo; 

sisters,  Cremilde Amaral of the Azores; Louisa Cabral of Toronto, Canada; 

the godfather of Lucy Lemos and Gabriel Cordeiro, both of Fall River and Elizabeth and Alda Craveiro of Canada; and also leaves many nieces and nephews. 

He was the brother of the late Gilberto Cordeiro, Evelyn Resendes, Deodato Cordeiro and Natalia Craveiro and the son of  the late  Jose and Ermalinda Cordeiro.

                        His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM

from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a Funeral Mass at Santo Christo  Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick's Cemetery.
