John Pereira Obituary

John A. Pereira, 64, of Dartmouth, a merchandiser for Coca- Cola for 30 years, passed into eternal rest Sunday, April 10, 2022.  He was the husband of Maria L. (Travassos) Pereira.  They shared 41 years of marriage.

Born in Ponta Delgada , St.Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Arthur and Conceicao (Linhares) Pereira, he moved to the United States in 1969. John enjoyed cruising, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and listening to music.  He was a devoted  New England Patriots fan.

 

Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Christine Periera (fiancé George Smith) and Sheena Carrier (husband Eric);two grandsons, Benjamin Smith and Jackson Carrier;

five siblings, Zelia Oliveira, Edward Pereira, Luis Pereira, Joseph Pereira and Fernanda Gouveia and many nieces and nephews.   He was the brother of the late Ema P. Melo and Arthur Pereira.

Visitation Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So.Main St.,  with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Espirito Santo Church, Alden St. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
