Joao Branco

Joao Branco, 74, of Fall River, husband of the late Judith (Dupont) Branco, passed away Tuesday, December 22nd, 2020.

            A landscaper for many years, he enjoyed fishing, watching TV and was a big Benfica soccer fan.

            He leaves a son, Bruce Heaton; a granddaughter, Jessica Heaton; a great-grandson Alexander Swanger; many nieces and nephews; a companion, Maryann Vital and her daughter Jennifer Correia (husband Michael) and their children, Ethan and Avery. He was the father of the late Karen Heaton and Kenneth Heaton; brother of the late Fatima Cordeiro, Joana Cordeiro, Lionel Branco, Antonio Branco, Rosa Travassos, Maria Sousa, Manuel Branco, Honarato Branco, Jose Branco and Mariano Branco and the son of the late Antonio and Maria De Nascimento (Bandarra) Branco.

            A visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St.

            A funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home with a Funeral Mass at Santo Christo Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick's Cemetery. Face coverings and social distancing required.
