Joan V. (Langlais) Couturier

Joan V. (Langlais) Couturier, 80, of Fall River, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022.

She was the wife of Ronald A. Couturier. They shared  60 years of marriage.

Joan was retired from Raytheon, Portsmouth, RI. She enjoyed playing cards at the Senior Center on Tucker St., going to casinos, playing bingo and camping.  She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Columbiettes, East End Sportsman’s Club and the Happy Wanderers Camping Club. Joan was a graduate of Jesus Mary Academy.

She was the mother of Paul R. Couturier and Robert J. Couturier, both of Fall River, Michelle Brouillard (husband Jean D.) of Attleboro, and Marc M. Couturier (wife Kelly) of Barrington, RI; grandchildren, Adam and Jillian Brouillard and Ethan Couturier; sister of Mildred Jackson and the late Lillian Levesque, William Langlais and Claire Saraiva;  aunt to many nieces and nephews; daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred (Braman) Langlais.

 Visitation will be held Friday at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So.Main St. Fall River from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 A.M. at the funeral home with a Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Church, 951 Stafford Rd. Fall River, at 10 A.M.The family is respectfully asking all attendees to please wear a mask during the visitation and Funeral Mass.  Burial Monday at Massachusetts National Cemetery at 11:15 AM.
