JoAnn (Santos) Bernier

JoAnn (Santos) Bernier, 77, of Berkley, wife of the late Edmond P. "Ed" Bernier, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side.

A child care provider for many years, JoAnn’s great joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She enjoyed baking, painting and crafting. All of which became a part of how she spent time with her grandchildren. There were many afternoons with ingredients for making cookies spread across the table or if it was a crafting day; paints, paper, popsicle sticks, buttons, ribbons and glue. She just loved seeing what they would create. 

She was the mother of Scott Bernier (wife Robyn) of Swansea, Stacey Bernier of Fall River, Heidi Archila (husband Helmuth) of Brockton and the late Edmond “Ed” Bernier (wife late Priscilla);

Grandmother of, Ryan King, Kayleigh King, Paige Bernier, Cameron and Cody Bernier, Adam Torres, Brittny Tremblay, Chari Loveridge (Matt) and Emma Archila; great-grandmother of Aubree, Damon, TJ, Xandria, Jace, Landyn, Mia, Jack, Wesley Rae, Aidan, Mason, Owen, Devin, Kellen, Abigail; She was the sister of Joseph Santos, Lynne Santos and the late Jeannie Morin; aunt of many nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Perrault) Santos.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.Service to follow in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. 

Burial, Fox Cemetery, Berkley.
