James M. Pacheco

James M. Pacheco, 69, of Fall River, died unexpectedly June 2, 2021.

        A US Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a member of the Veterans Assn. of Pine St., Fall River. He was a correctional officer. He was a real character, a storyteller, always loved a great adventure and cooking for other people. In addition to that, he was an avid animal lover, especially dogs.

        He is survived by two children, Melanie Morency of Fairhaven and Kyle Pacheco of Fall River; a granddaughter, Marissa Morency; three siblings, John Pacheco (wife Jane), Robin Sedoma (husband Bob) and Robert Cipollini (wife Debbie) and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late John Pacheco and Lillian I. (Bowden) Gagliardi.

        Private funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Auclair Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the Veteran's Assn. of Bristol County, 755 Pine St., Fall River, MA 02720.
